Account & Registration
Visit our registration page, enter your name, email address, and a strong password. After signing up, complete your email verification and KYC to unlock all features.
No. KayXchange allows only one account per individual. Operating multiple accounts is a violation of our terms and may result in all accounts being permanently suspended.
Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your registered email address, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox. Check your spam folder if the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
Go to Dashboard → Profile Settings. You can update your phone number, bank account details, and notification preferences at any time. Some fields (name, email) may require identity re-verification.
Deposits & Funding
You can fund your wallet via:
  • Bank Transfer — Transfer to our company account and upload a proof of payment. Approved within business hours.
  • Paystack — Pay instantly with debit/credit card, USSD, or bank transfer.
  • Korapay — Card and bank transfer payments.
  • Flutterwave — Card, bank transfer, and mobile money payments.
Paystack, Korapay, and Flutterwave deposits are credited automatically and instantly once payment is confirmed.
The minimum deposit is ₦1,000. There is no maximum limit, though very large deposits may require additional verification.
Bank transfer deposits are reviewed manually by our team. They are typically approved within 15–60 minutes during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM WAT). You'll receive a notification once your deposit is approved.
For automatic gateway payments (Paystack, Korapay, Flutterwave): if you were charged but your wallet wasn't credited, please contact support with your transaction reference number — we'll resolve it promptly.

For bank transfers: ensure you uploaded a clear proof of payment. If more than 2 hours have passed, contact support with your transaction reference.
Buying Crypto
KayXchange supports buying Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USDT (TRC20 & ERC20). New coins are added periodically — check the Buy page for the latest list.
  1. Enter the amount in USD or NGN you want to buy.
  2. Provide your wallet address and choose the network.
  3. Review the trade summary.
  4. Transfer the naira equivalent to our company bank account and upload proof of payment.
  5. Our team verifies payment and sends crypto to your wallet — typically within 30 minutes.
After payment verification, crypto is sent to your wallet within 15–30 minutes during business hours. Network congestion may occasionally cause delays beyond our control.
Cancellations are only possible before payment is uploaded. Once you have submitted proof of payment and the trade is under review, it cannot be cancelled. Please contact support if you have an urgent issue.
Selling Crypto
Go to Sell Crypto, select the coin and enter the amount you want to sell. You'll receive a wallet address to send your crypto to. Once we confirm receipt on-chain, the naira equivalent is paid to your linked bank account or wallet balance.
Payouts are processed within 30–60 minutes after we confirm the blockchain transaction. For high-value trades, it may take up to 2 hours.
Sending the wrong coin or amount may result in permanent loss of funds. KayXchange is not liable for user errors of this nature. Always double-check the wallet address and coin type before sending. Contact support immediately if you believe you've made an error.
The minimum sell amount varies by coin. Generally, the minimum naira equivalent is ₦2,000. The exact minimum for each coin is displayed on the Sell page.
Identity Verification (KYC)
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required by financial regulations to prevent fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities. It also ensures a safe trading environment for all users.
We accept:
  • National Identity Card (NIN slip or physical card)
  • International Passport (data page)
  • Driver's License (front and back)
  • Voter's Card (PVC)
Documents must be valid, clearly legible, and must match your registered name.
KYC is typically reviewed within 1–24 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your verification is approved or if additional information is required.
Re-submit with a clearer image of your document. Ensure:
  • The document is not expired
  • All four corners are visible
  • There is no glare or blurriness
  • The name matches exactly what you registered with

Security
Yes. KayXchange uses industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage (bcrypt), CSRF protection, and session-based authentication. We never store full card details.
  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Never share your login credentials with anyone
  • Always log out on shared devices
  • Be wary of phishing emails — we will never ask for your password via email or phone
  • Contact support immediately if you notice suspicious activity
